Don't take our word for it — check the network tab

“Runs locally” is easy to claim and hard to verify. Here is the thirty-second version, no trust required.

  1. 1

    Open the Network tab

Press F12 (or Cmd+Option+I on Mac), click Network, and reload the page so you capture everything from a cold start.

  2. 2

    Filter to Fetch/XHR

This is where any upload would have to appear. A file leaving your device cannot hide from this filter.

  3. 3

    Run a tool and watch

Drop in a document, an image, or an audio file and start the job. The list stays empty — the work is happening in your browser, not on our servers.

Write & Communicate

Draft, rewrite, and clean up text without pasting it into a chatbot.

Documents & Data

Read PDFs, pull structured fields out of invoices, transcribe audio.

Images & Design

Remove backgrounds, upscale, and generate assets on-device.

Think & Build

Personal knowledge, planning, and code review that stays on your machine.

Questions people ask

Do these AI tools upload my files to a server?

No. Each tool runs in your browser using models and logic loaded into the page itself. Your text, images, PDFs, and audio stay on your device. Some tools optionally download a model file the first time you use them, but the content you process is never sent to us.

How can I verify that nothing is uploaded?

Open DevTools (F12), switch to the Network tab, then run a tool. You will see requests for the page and its model files, but no request containing your document or image payload. For a stricter check, filter by "Fetch/XHR" — that list stays empty while you work.

Do I need an account or an API key?

Neither. There is no signup wall, no quota screen, and no key to paste. Open a tool and it works. That is also why the tools keep functioning when you lose your connection after the page has loaded.

Why is the first run slower than later runs?

The first run downloads the model weights (a few megabytes for most tools, more for image and speech models). Your browser caches them, so subsequent runs start almost instantly. Nothing is re-downloaded on every visit.

Is a browser-based AI tool as accurate as a hosted one?

For focused tasks — rewriting a paragraph, extracting invoice fields, removing a background, transcribing clean audio — yes, the local models are very close. For open-ended reasoning on very long documents, a large hosted model still has the edge. The trade is accuracy for privacy, and we think that trade should be yours to make.
