PDF Password Remover & Unlocker
The PDF has an owner password (permission restrictions). This tool removes it instantly — no password needed. Example: you downloaded a PDF from the internet, you can read it, but it says "Secured" and blocks copying.
The PDF has a user password (open password). This tool automatically tries to crack it:
- Dictionary attack — 60+ common passwords (password, admin, 123456...)
- Numeric brute force — all numbers from 1 to 6 digits (1-999999)
- Alpha brute force — all letter combinations up to 3 chars (a-z, aaa-zzz)
If the password is weak (e.g. "123456", "abc"), it will be cracked automatically. If it's strong (e.g. "Kx$9mP2q"), you'll need to enter it manually.
Enter the password and get a new PDF that opens without any password. Useful when you keep typing the same password every time you open the file.
Because browser-based tools cannot directly decrypt the original PDF data stream, the output PDF is re-rendered as images at 200 DPI. It looks visually identical, but text is not selectable or searchable. This is a technical limitation of all browser-based PDF unlockers — desktop tools like qpdf can preserve text, but they require installation.
