Does the count include both the start and end date?
The standard result counts the days elapsed between the two dates (end minus start). For notice periods and legal deadlines, check whether your rule counts calendar days or business days, and whether the day of the event itself counts — the weekdays-only mode exists for exactly this distinction.
How do I count only business days?
Enable the weekdays-only option and the calculator excludes Saturdays and Sundays from the total. It does not skip public holidays — those vary by country — so add or subtract holiday dates manually when a contract or SLA requires holiday-aware counting.
