A PDF page is a dictionary object in the document's page tree. One of its entries, /Rotate, is an integer (0, 90, 180 or 270) that tells every viewer to draw the page's content rotated clockwise by that many degrees. Rotating a page here does not touch the content stream, the /MediaBox or a single font — it rewrites one number in the page object and re-serializes the cross-reference table. That is why rotation is instant and lossless: the vector text, curves and images stay exactly as encoded, and only the on-screen orientation changes.
pdf-lib writes a new /Rotate value into the page object; viewers apply it clockwise at render time. The MediaBox and content stream are untouched, so quality never degrades and the file barely grows.

Yes. Use the "Rotate all CW" or "Rotate all CCW" buttons in the toolbar above the thumbnail grid. This rotates every page in the PDF by 90 degrees in the chosen direction. You can then fine-tune individual pages by clicking their rotate buttons.
No. The tool uses pdf-lib to copy pages from the original PDF into a new document in your chosen order. No re-encoding or compression is applied — the content quality is identical to the original. Only the page order and rotation change.
Yes. Each thumbnail has a ✕ button that removes that page from the output. Deleted pages are not included in the final PDF. You can delete as many pages as you want, as long as at least one page remains.
